True Italian is launching an Instagram contest during the Pistachio Street Food Festival. Don’t miss the chance to win a stay in Catania, Sicily
The most delicious event of this summer in Berlin is finally around the corner. This weekend, on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August 2022, from 11am to 10pm, at the Jules B-Part Am Gleisdreieck (Luckenwalder Str. 6b), is taking place the second edition of the Pistachio Street Food Festival, the unique event in Germany dedicated to pistachio.
Everything has already been organized, 17 participants are going to be there to offer you the best pistachio-specialties. Sweet and salty pistachio cannoli, ceviche with chopped pistachios, tacos and nachos with pistachio sauce, pistachio arancini, arrosticini with pistachio cream, samosa with pistachio sauce, pistachio babà, profiteroles, ice cream and granita, and much more. And to make sure nothing is missing, the event will be enriched by an extensive program of DJ sets. You can find more info following this link.
But that’s not all! During the festival, you’ll be able to take part in our Instagram photo contest. Have you always dreamed of visiting Sicily? Don’t miss this opportunity! Instagram contest: how to take part
This contest rewards the originality and creativity of the shots. It’s easy to participate: come to the Pistachio Street Food Festival on Saturday, August 27th, and/or Sunday, August 28th, at Jules B-Part in Gleisdreick park and take a photo with your favorite pistachio specialty. Put all your creativity and imagination into your shots and post them on your Instagram profile. A tip: The more originality and distinctiveness the shots have, the better your chances of being selected by the jury.
The rules to follow when publishing your post (pictures, video or REEL, but no stories!) to be eligible for the contest are as follows:
- Tag @trueitalianfood in the photos;
- Mention the hashtag #pistachiostreetfoodfestival in the post description;
- Locate the post by indicating Jules B-Part Am Gleisdreieck;
- Publish the post by 11 pm on Monday, August 29th
How to win the contest
The True Italian jury will select the ten most original, creative and funny photos. Once the selection process is completed, the ten most creative photos will be published via Instagram stories on the @trueitalianfood profile on Tuesday, August 30th, and our followers will determine through polls, by tapping on

, which photo deserves the fantastic stay at the Art & Jazz Hotel in Catania. After the deadline for Instagram stories, that is, 24 hours after their publication, we will announce and contact the winner of the contest. The winner will be the photo that received the most ? among the ten selected photos. In case of a tie, the photo published first will be the winner.
Please note that the flight tickets to and from Catania are not included in the prize.
