There is no better way to savour the true essence of Italian cuisine than with a good pizza! This year the True Italian Pizza Street Festival returns in its second edition, on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., at the Jules B-Part in the Gleisdreieck park (Luckenwalder Str. 6b). Fifteen of Berlin’s best pizzerias will gather in this fantastic location to offer delicious and creative pizzas: from the distinctive fragrance of Malafemmena‘s pizzas to Capvin‘s original Neapolitan pizza, from the specialities of L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele to Sironi‘s perfect doughs! Besides pizza, there will be live music with DJ sets, workshops for pizza lovers by Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana and other fantastic surprises!
Once again, this year there will be the True Italian photo and video contest, which will give participants the chance to win a fantastic stay for two people and a guided tour in the cellars of the impressive Villa Raiano (Avellino). The winners will be able to stay for three nights in a high standard accommodation in the province of Avellino and experience a tasting of six of the best wines from the Villa Raiano cellars.

Pizza Street Festival 2023 photo e video contest: how to partecipate
Take the chance to express your creativity and originality! It’s really easy to participate: come to the True Italian Pizza Street Festival on Saturday, July 15th, and /or Sunday, July 16th, at Jules B-Part in the Gleisdreick park and take a photo or video with your favorite pizza. Post the photo or reel on your Instagram profile, showing all your creativity and imagination! A little tip: the more distinctive and original your photos are, the better your chances of being selected by the jury!
The rules to follow when publishing your post (pictures or reels, but stories won’t be considered) to be eligible for the contest are as follows:
- Tag @trueitalianfood profile in the photos;
- Mention the hashtag #trueitalianpizzastreetfestival in the post description;
- Locate the post by indicating Jules B-Part;
- Publish the post by 11am on Monday 17th July.
How to win the contest
The True Italian jury will select the 10 most beautiful, original, and funny posts, which will be published on the Instagram stories of the @trueitalianfood profile on the afternoon of Monday 17th July.
Then it will be your turn! True Italian followers will decide through polls, by tapping on ? or?, which post deserves the fantastic stay in the province of Avellino. We will announce and contact the winner of the contest after the deadline of Instagram stories, that is 24 hours after their publication. The post that has received the most ? of the ten selected will be the winner. In case of a tie, the post published first will be the winner.
Villa Raiano: among wine, nature and territory
The winner will have the chance to enjoy a unique experience among the landscapes of the province of Avellino. The prize consists of a three-nights stay for two people at a top-class accommodation in the province of Avellino. Included in the stay, there is a guided tour of the Villa Raiano’s wine cellars, and a tasting of six of the most important wines produced there. Villa Raiano was established in 1996 in a unique location among oak woods and ancient vineyards, where nature and taste meet. Indeed, each wine takes on a variety of different flavours depending on the location of the vineyards in the area, defined by different altitudes, from hills to mountains.
