Berlin never stops and so do we. Once again we bring you all the latest food news in the city. What a great week we have ahead! Plus, on Monday it’s Valentine’s day, so here are some suggestions to celebrate it with good food.
A special menu full of love signed by Da Michele
Antica Pizzeria da Michele offers an interesting menu for the well-known lovers’ day on February 14th. Here it is: you will be greeted with a Flûte of Rosé wine and a delicious appetizer: an oven-cooked Aubergine stir-fried with homemade Cherry tomato sauce, served with flatbread. You can then enjoy a good pizza, and conclude the evening with a dessert (matcha sponge cake with fresh mixed berries and red sauce), and an Averna amaro. Remember to book per Whatsapp in time!

Lecko Mio, creamy hazelnut ice cream… and vegan, too!
The ice cream parlour Lecko Mio is teasing us with a new flavour of tasty ice cream, which we can’t wait to try! Their hazelnut ice cream will be the perfect first ice cream flavour of the season – which for Lecko Mio will officially start in March 2022. Moreover, there’s another wonderful news: the ice cream is now also vegan, so no one is excluded from the creaminess.

Capvin, heart-shaped pizza for all women
The Italian pizzeria Capvin also celebrates the famous day of lovers with a precious tribute to all women. All the tasty pizzas, if you wish, will be served in the shape of a heart. A really nice way to celebrate love over good food and over women!

Giomecca Pastry, mouth-watering Valentine’s Day specials!
At Giomecca Pastry you can find fantastic pastries, ready to pick up on Sunday 13th or Monday 14th. Enjoy them with friends, lovers or even alone, why not? You can choose a delicious cake with different creams, one better than the other: white chocolate and hazelnut cream, raspberry jelly and cocoa biscuit, coconut and passion fruit, chocolate and caramel, lemon, honey and saffron, gianduia, berry gelé, cream tart with rosewater and raspberries. It’s not possible to book, but if you hurry up, you can still find this menu directly there! Alternatively, you will surely find something else that will be right for you on these special days. P.S.: on Monday, Giomecca Pastry will be open from 10:30 to 19:00.

Marina Blu, a romantic 4-course menu
Marina Blu also wants to celebrate Valentine’s Day with you, and what’s better than a four-course menu to enjoy with your loved one? The menu offers an oyster appetizer with grapefruit vinaigrette or an aubergine caponata, a first course you can choose between risotto with cognac and scampi or beetroot gnocchi with Caprino cream, and a second course you can choose between grilled swordfish rolls or stuffed artichokes. In the end, Marina Blu offers a delicious Sicilian cannolo with ricotta and pistachio. All for €37.5 per person. Remember to book in advance!
