The best Italian culinary specialties and Berlin’s finest artisans await you at the Italian Christmas Market to offer you a unique and memorable experience. A DJ will make the atmosphere even more magical with his music, and you can stroll among the stands and experience a fabulous Italian Christmas (click here for more details).
But that’s not all! By participating in the Italian Christmas Market, you can have the chance to win a BASKET OF ITALIAN DELICACIES as a prize! How? We explain that below …

The contest: the funniest Christmas sweater wins!
What better opportunity to show off your best Christmas sweater? Reindeer, snowmen, trees, presents, lights, you name it. EXAGGERATION is the key word to win the contest.
Rules to follow:
- Come to our event on Saturday, December 3, or on Sunday, December 4, and wear your best and funniest Christmas sweater.
- Take a photo or a reel of you wearing your sweater in our photo booth or in any corner of the venue.
- Post the photo or reel on your Instagram profile by 11 p.m. on Monday, December 5, tagging @trueitalianfood and @italianchristmasmarket, using the hashtag #ItalianChristmasMarket (Instagram Stories will NOT be considered) and localizing the post at BADESCHIFF & GLASHAUS BERLIN.

The True Italian team will select the ten posts with the funniest sweaters. After that, on Tuesday, December 6, these ten will be re-posted via Instagram stories on @trueitalianfood‘s profile, and followers will decide, via polls, the most deserving photo or reel to win the prize up for grabs.
When the Instagram Stories expire, so 24 hours after their publication, we will announce the contest winner, i.e., the one who has received the highest number of upvotes. In the case of a tie, we will give precedence to the post that was published first.
The first-place winner will be contacted via Instagram and will be able to pick up their prize at Berlin Italian Communication’s offices at Gryphiusstraße 26, 10245 Berlin.
