The Pistachio Street Food Festival 2023 is back with its third edition, celebrating the green gold loved all over the world!
Pistachio lovers, are you ready? The Pistachio Street Food Festival returns to Berlin with its third edition, for a weekend dedicated to celebrating one of the most versatile and beloved ingredients ever! Once again this year visitors will be able to find the best Italian and international street food specialties, both sweet and savory, all with one protagonist: pistachio.
The Festival will take place on August 26 and 27, both days from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., at the Jules Biergarten & Café accessible directly from the Gleisdreieck Park (Luckenwalder Straße 6b, 10963 Berlin).
And what better way to celebrate the end of summer than with music? This year, too, there will be an all-day long DJ set to enjoy a convivial and festive atmosphere together. Entrance fee is €3 and free for children under 12. During the event there will also be a photo/video contest on Instagram, which will allow all participants to win a stay in Catania, one of the most popular cities to taste authentic pistachio goodness.

A unique festival in Germany to celebrate this versatile ingredient
The Pistachio Street Food Festival boasts of being the only festival in Germany completely dedicated to pistachio. This ingredient lends itself to being incredibly versatile in the kitchen, allowing you to create new dishes and experiment with different textures and flavors. The end-of-summer event with international overtones
Berlin is a crossroads of many cultures and the Pistachio Street Food Festival aims to highlight the use of this ingredient not only in Italian cuisine, but also in that of many others. From panzerotti to empanadas, from Korean-style chicken to Mexican tacos, from Sicilian cannoli to French crêpes. Indeed, there will be food trucks from the rest of the Mediterranean basin, Asia and even Latin America at the festival: all eager to show us how pistachio is used and emphasized in their own kitchens.

Belonging to the dried fruit family, pistachio is actually a seed and is considered one of the best snacks in the world, as well as a real health booster! Pistachios are rich in fiber and contain numerous vitamins and minerals such as calcium, zinc, potassium, iron, copper and many others.
