The 72 hrs True Italian Food Festival is ready once again to surprise you with the best Italian specialties in Berlin and, of course, the traditional photo contest to give you the chance to win a stay in an extraordinary Italian city: Milan! Just take a nice picture in one or more restaurants participating in the event to win your next fabulous Italian experience.

If the 72 hrs True Italian Festival was a city, it would be Milan: lively, creative, fashionable, and never taken for granted. Besides being the epicenter of Italian fashion, the Lombard capital boasts a vast, stimulating, and constantly updated cultural offer. Getting bored in Milan is almost impossible, but if it happens, just eat! In Milan, every corner is a gastronomical paradise: from the best-starred chefs to authentic Italian street food, from the typical Milanese cutlet to the most sought-after ethnic cuisine, there’s a treat for everyone.
It goes without saying: we only have one Milan. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this breathtaking city and win a stay in one of the two hotels selected for the occasion: The Hub Hotel and Hotel Mentana.

The Instagram contest: how to participate
Participating in the contest will be as easy as drinking an Aperol Spritz! From April 6th until April 9th, just go to one of the participating restaurants in Berlin (here is the full list) and order the event specialties. It will be hard not to give in to temptation, but before you bite, take a picture of the dish, of someone eating, or of the particular location and post it on your Instagram feed by 11 PM, Saturday, April 9th (only posts, Instagram stories will not be considered!).
HOW IT WORKS:
- tag the profile @trueitalianfood in the post;
- use the hashtag #72hrstrueitalian in the description of the post;
- Geo-tag the post at the restaurant you took the picture in (it must be one of those participating in the event).
How to win the contest
The True Italian Team will select the 10 most original photos and reward the creativity of amateur photographers who decided to participate in the contest. On Monday, April 11th at 12 pm the selected shots will be published on @trueitalianfood Instagram stories, where the audience will be able to vote for the 2 photos that most deserve to win, by tapping on ? – if liked – or ? – for dislike. After 24 hours from the publication of the stories, we will contact and announce the winners of the contest, aka. the two pictures with the highest number of ? .
The prizes
Two amazing stays are up for grabs: the first-place winner can choose between the eclectic The Hub Hotel, located in the Northwest of Milan, or the comfortable Hotel Mentana, located in the very heart of the city. The second-place winner will be offered a stay in the structure not chosen by the first-place winner. Both winners will be awarded a period of 3 nights, for 2 people. The period of the stay will be chosen by the winners according to the availability of the host structure. Flights to Milan are not included in the prize.
